The Milwaukee County Family Court renovation is nearing completion!
These family court renovations aim to enhance and modernize existing facilities on the seventh floor of the Milwaukee County Courthouse. The project’s primary objective is to create a more efficient, accessible, and accommodating space that meets the evolving needs of the judicial system. The renovation will also provide an improved environment for families involved in legal proceedings while safeguarding their privacy and enhancing safety.
The improved layout will separate the circulation paths of visitors and staff and provide secure reception and waiting areas. It will also provide a more efficient layout of hearing rooms with separate entrances and improved technology infrastructure. The updated facilities will contribute to a positive and professional atmosphere, promoting the well-being of all individuals involved in legal processes while aligning with the modern standards of court facility design.
Continuum has worked closely with court administrators and staff to conceptualize a design that provides the department with hearing rooms, separate staff office suites, and a separate staff entrance.
