MILWAUKEE COUNTY CENTER FOR YOUTH GROUNDBREAKING

Ground has officially broken for the Milwaukee County Center for Youth on the Vel. R. Phillips Youth and Family Justice Center campus.

Joined by Deputy Chief Judge Jane Carroll, DOC Assistant Deputy Secretary Melissa Roberts, DHHS Executive Director Shakita LaGrant-McClain, CYFS Administrator Kelly Pethke, and District 10 Alderwoman Sharlen P. Moore, this ceremony marks the progress Milwaukee County has made to develop a facility that returns youth to our community with the skills needed to become successful and productive citizens.

The Milwaukee County Center for Youth is a treatment-oriented secure residential facility that will provide a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate treatment environment for youth, improve the youth justice system, and contribute to a safer community.

Continuum is proud to be a part of a team dedicated to bringing individualized services, programming, and care to youth in the county.
