The University of Wisconsin Madison has played a significant role in military training for over 150 years. However, the ROTC programs for the three-Armed Forces have historically been located around campus, shifting from one temporary location to another.
Continuum Architects prepared an advanced planning study to evaluate the design and construction of a new, standalone four-story building. This building would serve as a dedicated facility to accommodate all three-Armed Forces programs in one centralized location. By consolidating the programs into a single facility, it would provide them with a needed permanent home while enhancing synergies and operation efficiencies between the programs.
The goal was to reflect this nationally ranked, top-tier ROTC academic unit, through these facilities. UW-Madison required that these facilities reflect their exceptional educational standards, ensuring the ability to attract and retain the most talented and promising candidates.
